Join us for a full day of healing, relaxation, and connection featuring workshops led by local wellness practitioners, a catered lunch, and optional one-on-one wellness sessions.
As part of the retreat, I will be leading an Ayurvedic self-oil massage workshop based on the traditional practice of Abhyanga. Used for centuries in Ayurveda, self-oil massage can support the nervous system, nourish the skin and tissues, promote joint mobility, and help the body feel more grounded and cared for.
During this workshop, you will:
Learn gentle self-massage techniques to calm the nervous system and ground the body
Explore how Ayurvedic massage therapy can support healing, circulation, healthy joints, and overall well-being
Create a personalized massage oil to take home so you can continue the practice
Receive an Abhyanga handout with simple instructions and helpful guidance
Close with a period of deep rest, allowing the oil and the experience to fully integrate
In Sanskrit, the word sneha can mean both oil and love. This Ayurvedic healing practice is an invitation to slow down, nourish yourself deeply, reconnect with your body, and experience self-care as an expression of self-love.
No previous experience with Ayurveda or massage is needed. Simply come as you are.
