Ayurvedic Self-Oil Massage Workshop at SEIKRID
Would you like to feel more nourished, supported, and balanced as we move into winter? Join me at SEIKRID on October 18 for a hands-on Ayurvedic self-oil massage workshop focused on seasonal healing, nervous-system care, and deep nourishment.
In Ayurveda, fall is considered an important time to slow down and reset after the activity of summer. The cooler, windier, and drier qualities of the season can leave us feeling scattered, tense, depleted, or disconnected from our bodies. Abhyanga, the traditional Ayurvedic practice of self-oil massage, helps restore warmth, grounding, and a greater sense of stability.
During this workshop, you will:
Learn how Ayurvedic self-massage can calm the nervous system and support seasonal well-being
Practice gentle massage techniques that nourish the skin, muscles, tissues, and joints
Learn how to personalize Abhyanga for your body and current needs
Create a customized four-ounce massage oil using organic oil and essential oils
Practice applying the oil in a supportive, welcoming environment
Rest comfortably while allowing the nourishing effects of the oil to integrate
You will leave feeling renewed and grounded, with your personalized massage oil and the knowledge needed to continue this healing practice at home throughout the fall and winter.
In Sanskrit, the word sneha means both oil and love. At its heart, Abhyanga is more than massage therapy—it is a practice of offering care, nourishment, and love to every part of yourself.
No previous experience with Ayurveda or massage is needed. Come as you are and discover a simple practice you can return to whenever you need greater grounding and support.
